Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst
Position Summary
Experienced IT Infrastructure Engineering and Operations leader with a proven track record supporting enterprise, aerospace, government, and startup environments. Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable IT infrastructure, security frameworks, network architecture, virtualization platforms, and technical operations. Skilled at leading cross-functional teams, driving compliance initiatives, modernizing infrastructure, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
Combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic IT management experience, delivering reliable, secure, and efficient technology environments while supporting rapid organizational growth. Leverages AI-driven tools and automation to improve operational efficiency, documentation, troubleshooting, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Engineering & Systems Administration
- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments.
- Administer physical and virtual server environments utilizing VMware, Proxmox, Azure, and Azure Site Recovery.
- Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives including server room buildouts, rack deployments, monitoring platform migrations, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, monitoring, and messaging systems to ensure maximum uptime and business continuity.
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and endpoint management platforms.
Network Engineering & Security
- Design and administer secure enterprise network environments using Meraki, Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies.
- Configure firewalls, VLANs, ACLs, wireless networks, and site-to-site VPNs to support secure and scalable operations.
- Manage enterprise security tools including CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, and email security platforms.
- Lead incident response activities, phishing remediation efforts, vulnerability mitigation, and security awareness initiatives.
- Support regulatory and cybersecurity requirements for CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, DFARS, and government contracting environments.
IT Operations & Service Management
- Lead IT operations teams, overseeing service desk functions, infrastructure support, and end-user services.
- Develop and optimize onboarding, offboarding, asset management, and IT service delivery processes.
- Establish operational standards, workflows, and documentation to improve support efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Manage enterprise software deployment and endpoint lifecycle management through Intune and automated provisioning solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and service reliability.
IT Management & Strategic Leadership
- Manage IT budgets, procurement strategies, vendor relationships, and software licensing agreements.
- Lead office relocations, infrastructure buildouts, and large-scale technology implementations.
- Partner with engineering, business, and executive stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
- Supervise technical staff, provide mentorship, and develop service delivery best practices.
- Present technical recommendations and business cases to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
IT Analyst & Process Improvement Functions
- Analyze infrastructure performance, system utilization, and operational metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve scalability, security, and business efficiency.
- Develop compliance documentation, risk assessments, gap analyses, and remediation plans.
- Create dashboards, reporting frameworks, and monitoring solutions that provide actionable operational insights.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and automation to streamline workflows, accelerate troubleshooting, and improve decision-making.
